anyone ever had a blurry sight after bino viewing with a telescope? I
have for 1/2 hour after binoviewing, any reason for that? Otherwise

For a week or two, the coverage of Phoenix on the NASA channel was at 2 pm
EDT, then it switched to 3 pm. Now it doesn't seem to exist, or does it?

   I have a pair of 7X50 Pentax binoculars which have a gold coloured
coating on the eyepieces. Does anyone know what this might be for? I
suspect it's a special purpose coating. There doesn't appear to be any
model number.
