Last night I was out stargazing with a few of my colleagues, checking
out a potential new viewing spot, when one of them pointed skyward and

TRis is a remider to s.a.a. folks that we are setting up for a group
photo at RTMC at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 27 near the water fountain at

Are there any layouts online for a large aperture truss dob. I am
wondering if I could just find a good layout online and then go to a
carpenter to fabricate the parts so that I can simply bolt it all

As interested as I am in astronomy, I haven't gone to that many public
viewing sites. Each time I do so, however, I learn something very useful
and I'd like to collect more tips from others who have far more experience
with this sort of thing.
