I finally decided on the XT-10. Hoping that I get it by next weekend
and that the sky is clear, but reading a lost of these post tell me
that when you get a new scope, to expect cloudy skies. I want to thank
all of you for all of your input and advise. When the scope arrives,

Just got back (to the UK) from Southern Turkey and feel very tired and

The Meteosat-8 weather satellite produced some terrific images of the
moon's shadow pasing over Africa.  They may be found at the EUMETSAT

Since I messed with (and improved, I think) the collimation of my 8 inch
CAT this is the first night of good (3/5 according to the Clear Sky
Clock)seeing.

should know I have my shop on cafepress, and they have many things I can
use, I belive they silkscreen or maybe heat transfers, they've never said

Essentially I need a new scope and I don't know what to get. I
currently have, and started with, a 13.1" Coulter Odyssey 1. However I
dislike that there is no tracking which limits my magnification as well
as the fact that it is far too large to easily transport even with some

These people actually are getting paid big bucks to sit there and tell
things that is common knowledge.  While there poor wifes and kids watch them
all on TV.
