Hi everyone - and happy 2004 to you all...

A couple of quick questions while I try and log my brain back into
aerospace thoughts after 10 months or so of not thinking about it...

Does anyone know what happened to the BST002 "Analogue" Buran that was
in Sydney for a while?  I remember similar questions around the
beginning of 2003 but no-one seemed to know.

Was the actual status of the flight-orbiter involved in the roof
collapse at Baikonour last year ever revealed?  There was much
speculation at the time and a presumption that it was a write-off
after images of the Energia booster were shown which showed the extent
of the damage, but has it ever been confirmed that the orbiter was
destroyed?

Thanks...

Justin

It got shipped out of Sydney a while back, and I heard it was going to Singapore for display, but likely not.  Now...?

The company(~ies)  that had it on display in Sydney repeatedly went broke, so whoever has it now has probably learnt their lesson and isn't bothering with it.
