...According to the press conference, the White Room tech who was the
guilty party fessed up to it before the launch, so there'll be no
spanking over it. Good for him!

What do you mean?? Did a white-room tech guy get up there before launch
to fasten that door?

...Not exactly. As the White Room was retracting, they quickly noticed
the inner hatch flapping loose. The tech who was responsible noted it
himself, and inquired about going back and sticking the pin in. It was
decided that the gangway had been retracted, and it would be safer
just to let the hatch flap around as the booster launched than risk
sendind a tech or two out there to fix one loose pin that close to
launch.
