Excellent, my son is joining me in DC this weekend.  I was planning on
taking him to the Folklife Festival at the National Mall so that may be
perfect!

Unfortunately, Mr. Hickam's flights were delayed on Saturday so he
missed his appearances.  But he will be at the Sunday Folkfair.

Thank you,

Hmm, I didn't make it anyway, (my son was enjoying some of the exhibits at
the NASM too much :-)

Alas, I was unable to meet Mr. Hickam.  My son and I got out of my apartment
later than I planned.

We did however spend most of the day at the NASA tents.  It was quite
enjoyable.

Even had the pleasure of talking a bit with an associate of Mary's from
Dryden.

(Hmm that almost sounds like a good medieval title, "The Grand Duchess of
Speed, Mary of Dryden")

...That's actually a demotion. As you'll recall, I canonized her a few
years back :-)
