What are the numerous white circular features in various locations on the
ISS? These features are large white circles with smaller black circles in
the center.
At the link below, if you look at pictures #5 and #6 you will see what I am
asking about. In pic #5 the features are just above the space shuttle roof
and located on the docking structure of the ISS.

Those are targets for the Canadian Space Vision System (SVS). This was a
sensor used to assist SSRMS berthing/unberthing in cases where direct
views of the berthing site are limited or unavailable.
