Is this significant in some way?
Maybe they wanted to annoy the folk who were taking all those pictures you
could hear on the sound.. OK, I know it was an automatic camera, I was
joking.

Brian, please forgive me for being forward, but do you have any sight
at all? I know that some blind folk have some remaining sight yet are
considered, for all intent, blind. The reason for my question is the
opening topic was about landing right of the center line, and that got
me curious. I am, and have been, all of my life, physically
challenged. I went to a school for the handicapped and encountered
blind children with various stages of sightedness.
Again please forgive the forward nature of my question.

Cross wind was part of the reason. I am a private pilot, and don't
seem to be able to get a small Cessna down in the middle, so I can
only imagine what the cross winds do to something the size of an
orbiter.
But any landing where you touch down all three wheels on the pavement
is considered acceptable. :)
