What? Boing cant build their own planes?

So this new experimental aircraft had to be built by us over here?

Blended wing and all that.

Two X-48B research vehicles were built by Cranfield Aerospace Ltd.,
in
Bedford, England, in accordance with Boeing requirements. The vehicle
that flew on July 20 is Ship 2, which also was used for ground and
taxi testing.

boeings dreamliner uses parts from all over planet.

probably all about lowest bid price

Lowest bidder for subcontract work?  It's a global economy, for better
or worse.
