Hi,

on the 7th August I'll be in Clearwater on holiday from the UK.  Does
anyone know if any tours to view the shuttle launch that day are
running from the Clearwater area? I've done a quick www search but
can't find anything.  Any help is really appreciated.

Many thanks in advance,

Rich.

There are two running from the Orlando area, including Greyline
Tours.  If you can get yourself up to Orlando, you can catch
one of these for just a bit over $100.  But if you get to
Orlando, you might as well drive the additional 38 miles to
Titusville.

Thanks John,

I think we'll probably drive and watch the launch from Titusville.
Anyone have any hints on the best place to view from there?

- check out my website
- google for shuttle launch viewing
- check out the extensive discussion of this for the past
few launches by going to google groups to see the history

Thanks again John. I'll probably try and get there early and go the
jetty which seems to be the best bet.  Nice website by the way! I'll
have a better look when I've some time.   Have you ever managed to get
across the pond to see the US warbirds at Duxford?  Well worth a visit
if you ever get the chance.

Best Regards

Rich

Anywhere on US1 between Port Saint John and Mims is good, just find a place
that suits your needs, don't get in a hurry to leave and you'll be fine...
