STS-117 scheduling

Since I'm headed to Jacksonville in Mar to visit my relatives, I
thought I'd try to see STS-117 launch as well. What is the earliest
date that the launch date can be reasonably considered to be cast in a
substance firm enough to reasonably plan around?

Launch is planned not earlier than March 16th, see

Yeah, but Derek's asking when there's enough confidence that it isn't
going to slip to May.

The Flight Readiness Review would certainly be a solid milestone, but
it may be too close to the luanch date to give adequate trip planning
time.

Actually - if I know early enough, slipping to May isn't a problem
because I can simply reschedule my trip. Slipping a few days is
disastrous because we simply have to be back home on the 18th, as my
Lady Wife has to get payroll out on the 20th. (And my mom is planning
a big family get-together on the 17th for St. Patricks.)

Yah. I really need to commit to travel dates around T-30 (to my
departure) in order for my Lady to firm up her work schedule and
various relative to schedule time off etc...

March 15, 2007. They're still officially aiming for March 16, but look
for this to move up one day.

By the way, either Chris Bergin at NASASpaceflight.com is seriously
confused, or NASA swapped Orbiters for STS-122. They've had two news
stories in the last few days that both imply Endeavour is flying
STS-122 in October/November, not Discovery.
