BBC announced today that as part of president Putin's meeting with
Chirac (France) and Merkel (Germany), there was some sort of agrement on
joint development of a space shuttle. No details provided. And BBC's web
site doesn't mention this as of now. (there is an article on that
summit, but it only makes general mention of aeronautical agreements).

Does anyone have additional news on this ? I take it that this would be
about Europe participating in Klipper ?

Maybe they'll use NASA's shuttle design--Russia already knows how to
"borrow" these plans--and improve it and make a space shuttle for the
21st Century.

Don't be bashful.  Tell us what you REALLY think about the French aerospace
program :-)

I don't know why, but I have the same feeling about the French.

Probably the same feeling the French have about the Americans.

Why not stop bashing, and try to see the positive in both?

Anything positive in either? Do remind us :)

...That's okay. Most of us see the Frogs for the joke they are.

...Oh, believe me, we've tried. But it's really impossible to find
anything positive about a nation whose populace thinks Jerry Lewis is
the funniest comedian of all time.
