Atlantis and Endevour

When these orbiters finally fly, they will have been on the ground for
almost four years. Is anything being done to make sure that lack of
flying time hasn't made the orbiters "stale" or "rusty" or subject to
problems?

Endeavour just completed a two year Orbiter Major Modification
period that began in December 2003.  Atlantis has been
maintained in an Orbiter Processing Facility bay, with work now
underway to prep it for its next flight.  The latest shuttle processing

status reports are at:
