There have been 'One of the Original Trek Cast Members Is Gay" rumors for years, and Mr. Takei was by far the most logical (ahem) contender. Like Robert Reed's coming out didn't effect "Brady Bunch" reruns one iota, I see no impact on "Star Trek" from Mr. Takei's decision to no longer conceal his sexual preference.
