There will be just 10 more shuttle flights at most, US apparently backing out
of ISS shuttle.

Seems to be conflicting reports but I REALLY hope this is true!!!

If we launched JUST MODULES that cant go ANY OTHER WAY would that be about 10
flights?

Let the international partners pay Russia for Soyuz Progress resupply or
deorbit the mess.

.
End the dangerous wasteful shuttle now before it kills any more astronauts....

Keith Cowing of www.nasawatch.com certainly believes it isnt, and I
see no reason not to agree with him.

10 flights *per orbiter* I could buy. That would make the magic 30
flights that folks are talking about.

10 flights per orbiter I could also buy as a new deadline instead
of 2010. (Note, I'm not suggesting this is the case, but that I can see
an argument for it)

10 flights period, I just can't buy. Even at a low flight rate of 3
a year, then thats only 3 and a bit years from RTF. That would be
probably be around late 2008 with the current RTF date.

AIUI Any module designed for the (relativly) low G Shuttle environment
cant go any other way, since other launch vehicles experience far higher
G forces.

Ill be charitable and assume you meant mass rather than mess. Not
carrying 'down mass' wont reduce the required number of Shuttle flights.
