Huh ?  You obviously are reading the wrong threads.  The bulk of them
are anti, especially on L2.  Chris, himself, doesn't take sides.

The fact that there is ANY support for it at all, is an embarrassment to
the nation, and to the human species.

Good excuse to leave the species then!

Bushes last budget is a 500 billion dollar deficit, a all time budget
buster record, and hasnt been porked up with more piggies........

were at a cross roads, unending deficits are devalkuing our dollar
making energy costs skyrocket, and anything imported ............

our economy can / will collapse if the deficit isnt bought under
control.....

this sorry excuse for a launch system cant survive, and shouldnt.,

nasa should get out of the launch business completely, and buy flights
over X time.

delta expendables and private industry should be given the job.

the stick was just a political pork payoff that exploded in nasa face.

let the shuttle continue to fly till a expendable is ready

The EELVs are ready to fly now.

We live in a nation called America, where we are held hostage by an
illegitimate administration, political class and corporate held media,
and we are represented by an illegitimate rocket (Ares I - the Stick).

Only George Bush could turn the space shuttle into a financial success.

For the amount of money they have wasted now on the Vision for Space
Exploration, we could have flown the space shuttle for three more years.

agreed pork money was all wasted, just like the mass transit tunnel
under the allegheny river here in pittsburgh, and rebuilding a old
railroad tunnel that gets little use as a HOV tunnel, or the airport
busway that doesnt go to the airport.

the feds just waste money, and dont care.

congress is all about pork, fund raising and getting re elected.

the current recession followed by a mini depression should hopefully
turn things around.

do we REALLY need troops in japan, and all over the world?

sure needed in south korea, but germany?

we need to bring our troops home, so they spend their money HERE, and
have some sort of QUICK deployment system.

we also need enough basic industries to be self sufficent, in not just
energy but food vehicles etc.

by outsourcing everything it leaves us vulnerable like we are about
energy......

hey maybe we should hire the chinese army for afghanistan?
