Dear Astronomy Experts
How does one sell a telescope? The Starry Messenger ceased publication a
decade(?) ago. I have used the search engine & have not found a web site
that is dedicated to scopes.
A local ad might bring a buyer, but not a 'good' price.

Did your search not find <http://www.astromart.com/>? They have a
classified-ad section, which I see being recommended fairly often.
There's always eBay, of course ...

I don't think a single posting of a "For Sale" ad (identified as such
in the subject line) on sci.astro.amateur should be taken amiss. At
any rate if you posted your question there you might get more replies
from people who've bought & sold equipment online.
