Oh there's genocide, torture, hunger/starvation, making a profit out of
war and death, there's a long list of lowly ways of mankind.
When you think about it we have not changed our ways towards fellow
humans for thousands of years so why change now, maybe it's our way, in
our genes, part of our being, in other words all perfectly normal.

Right Ray, it would be nice to talk to the sweet heroine of our
net dreams. The multi sexed version of James Bond only more mysterious.
She comes and goes with not a long or short good-bye for her potential
Earth Officers. How she tempts us with her beguiling ways. And Sil my
space brave soul, not a peep, silenced supposedly by the higher galaxy
command, ha. What happened to the whole galaxy wants to meet the famous
nightbat, right? And the Commander Pros, lets his better half
single-handedly take on the most dangerous jump mission while he net
reports that he/she parties on a boat and is almost taken prisoner by
Earthlings. Hmmmm, and our resident net mind bender, Dr.Strangebones (
Yubi ), staying behind to keep our hopes up for 1st official contact.
Thankfully Officer Mr. Bohne valiantly holds his own against the slings
and arrows of this referenced reported net advanced star Doc, despite
iterated Doc's fearless obsession, what madness, what fun. We need
something, not nada, or zip, empty promises, bring on the advanced toys,
decoder rings, Greysky's FTL interphase P burst modulators. A schematic
of the D.R.I.L.L. would be nice. We are ready like my Sil so beautifully
put it, it's now or never. With all due respect to the honorary
intergalactic space council, what do they know, when they sent a cosmic
beauty alone to do a man's job? Beam us up or land already and we'll
show you what we're made of. Come on down, the waters fine, don't let a
cruise ship full of conspirators set back the course of human star folk
relations. First they promised the elect a space ride and communion then
they tease us with status pending?
This is Earth calling, come in.
Earth calling, come in please.
Lucy, I mean Darla in the skies come in please, over.

Perhaps we should send
an anthropolgist to Mars
to check up on her?

She seems totally enamored with Mr. Bohne. What's he got that we don't
have, nightbat?

That may have been one of the most crucial shipboard cocktail parties
in Earth's history. Still I aam having a hard time reconciling their
concept of fearlessness with the mental image of all the Seans diving
over the railing at the first hint of danger!

A lot like those Ed McMahon letters!

Hi Double-A and nightbat Best to use your cellular phone on weekends to
call Darla Will they bill according to light minutes( LM) Can a phone
call (signal) catch up to Darla's space ship?) Does Darla get incoming
calls only when heading back to earth? Does Darla have a private
number,or is it universal? I would think Darla being so far advanced
her communication would be like the way Treb and I communicate. Almost
instantaneously using brain waves.. No wire No phone No tella-marketing
calls No phone bill It is the comunication of the future. Bert

You need to know the number of their p blast relay station.
My cell phone signal can barely make it out of my steel framed
dwelling.

No, Treb has Bert's pager number!

G=EMC^2 Glazier - 31 Mar 2005 14:41 GMT
Hi Twitty Double-A is close. Its not a pager going off,but as Treb, and
I start to wake up with the Sun(Twi-light zone) we both get a feeling to
communicate . To do this we take turns saying "hello" (this morning was
my turn) We both get a laugh for tying figure 8 knots in the middle of
our vacuum cleaner cords,or twisting our wall phone wires counter clock
wise. Then we play a numbers game, and naturally talk science. Bert PS
Twi-light was only meant as small pun

Afraid (<gg>) Darla had little time before take two, Double-A and The
Nightbat.
They're off and 'intergalacting' again.
Your above is one reason Earthians are so fearful.
You're always confusing fear with wisdom.
When one of you shows wisdom, others brand him or her a coward.
And you pass this on to peers and posterity, through your actions and your
writings.
But wisdom, like fear, can also result from such a domino-effect.
All one does is push over the first domino!

If they think they have the initiative then perhaps we should make a
move ourselves, rather than waiting on them. Difficult to know what we
could do though to make them act. Would need something drastic,
something that would attract their attention and bring it on ;-)
