Its such a great Hubble picture. Its this star that is 88 LY away. A man
made eclipse is created blocking out the star light and it shows a disk
around the star. It is not so flat but this debris of dust is more
donut shaped(torus). The Hubble is showing me a planet forming disk. I
would think it is made with all the elements. Since it reflects light
so well I will have its structure of ices of water, ammonia, methane etc.
This just jumped in Is this disk the largest reflective object see by
man so far? I think so Can I relate this planet forming ring around a
star to what is left of our solar system Kuipler belt? Well
HD 107146 is a very hot star and this disk looks close in and must get
great heat and we know that will be a big help in forming rock cores in
both gas and rock planets Its truly an amazing Hubble picture. Bert
