Former U.S. Astronaut Claims Aliens Are Real

Posted on: Thursday, 24 July 2008, 11:35 CDT

Dr. Edgar Mitchell, a former NASA astronaut and moon-walker who was a
veteran of the Apollo 14 mission, has made a shocking claim that
aliens from another planet do, indeed, exist and that governments have
been covering it up for over 60 years.

Mitchell, 77, claims extra-terrestrials have visited Earth on numerous
occasions and said sources at the space agency who had had contact
with aliens described the beings as 'little people who look strange to
us.'

He said supposedly real-life ET's look similar to the traditional
image of a small frame, large eyes and head.

Mitchell also went on to say that our own earthly technology was "not
nearly as sophisticated" as theirs and "had they been hostile", he
warned "we would be been gone by now".

During the Apollo 14 mission, Mitchell and fellow commander Alan
Shepard held the record for the longest ever moonwalk at nine hours
and 17 minutes following their 1971 mission.

"I happen to have been privileged enough to be in on the fact that
we've been visited on this planet and the UFO phenomena is real,"
Mitchell said.

"It's been well covered up by all our governments for the last 60
years or so, but slowly it's leaked out and some of us have been
privileged to have been briefed on some of it.

"I've been in military and intelligence circles, who know that beneath
the surface of what has been public knowledge, yes - we have been
visited. Reading the papers recently, it's been happening quite a
bit."

He also said that Roswell was real and similar alien visits continue
to be investigated.

"This is really starting to open up. I think we're headed for real
disclosure and some serious organizations are moving in that
direction," said Mitchell, who holds a Bachelor of Science degree in
aeronautical engineering and a Doctor of Science degree in Aeronautics
and Astronautics

"I thought I'd stumbled on some sort of astronaut humor, but he was
absolutely serious that aliens are definitely out there and there's no
debating it," said Kerrang! radio host Nick Margerrison, who first
broke the news during an interview with the former astronaut.

NASA officials quickly played down Mitchell’s controversial comments.

A spokesman for the government agency released a statement saying:
"NASA does not track UFOs. NASA is not involved in any sort of cover
up about alien life on this planet or anywhere in the universe.

this issue.'

Sounds like another case of Alzheimer's or dementia.

He must be off his meds.

You're just plain desert-rock crazy, cactus saul.  If I want information on
how to w.nk off in the desert alone with a cactus, I'll ask you because
everyone knows what a lonely and miserable creature you are. You  are the
expert. If I want information on space flight, rocket science or the aliens
currently buzzing the earth, I will ask Dr. Edgar Mitchell. He is the expert
and no amount of potty talk on your part will diminish that- when was the
last time you were in space actually observing UFO's buzzing your craft?
You aren't even enough of a man to lick the mud off  Dr. Mitchells' space
boots. Nuff said - go back to the nursing home - the male nurse is looking
for you to give you your daily enima.

It's enEma, greyfart!  Maybe you should suck on a TURD like BradBoi?
lmfjao!

Mitchell is now a CRACKPOT WACKO NUTJOB!  Some expert that makes him
out to be!  Ex as in past and pert as in drip!

So tell me when YOU were last in space, greyfart?  While watching UFOs
or not.

I've spent many hours watching the skies from Earth and have NEVER
seen anything which looks like a UFO.  Many of those hours were at
Kitt Peak.  Nancy Lieder claimed on Hoax to Hoax that UFOs buzz
observatories all the time!  Nope.  That's a TOTAL LIE.  So much for
UFOs.

QED!

It is sad to see mental illness take such a heroic figure.
Saul Levy - 25 Jul 2008 16:39 GMT
That is true, Burgess.

Too bad that we have so many here who are already well into mental
illness.  Too bad they can't tell either!

Says he walked on the moon.  What's so heroic about that?
Jake.
Saul Levy - 26 Jul 2008 01:07 GMT
He was NUDE at the time, jake?  lmao!

Well, O.K., that'd be foolish instead of heroic.

Risking one's life for one's country is heroic.  What have you done to top
that?
