> A MESSAGE FROM GEORGE CARLIN < I just received this e-mail from George Carlin. How he did it, I have no idea, but there must be a computer wherever the hell he is. < Ed: I still regard religion as pure bullshit but I've changed my mind about there being no God. I still detest religious brainwashing but now I know FOR SURE there's a Supreme Being because I've met Him.Naturally, I apologized for saying He doesn't exist and He grabbed me and gave me a big bear hug -- and now we're getting along swell. He told me He's also a bit pissed about the money-making schemes and brainwashing being done in the name of religion. < -- George < P.S. You can contact me at georgecarlin@cloud9. (Please don't give out my e-mail address.) < =================================== < George Carlin, now with plenty of time on his hands, finally had a chance to read Ed Conrad's Web page about the miraculous rescue of two insignificant coal miners in Pennsylvania in 1963. < We'll get his thoughts right after this exclusive video of his very first seance in which he threw the book at organized religions and even denied there is a God, for which He sincerely regrets.. < (Again, make sure the kiddies are wearing their ear muffs) < http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MeSSwKffj9o < Ed Conrad http://www.edconrad.com < =================== < This is the Web page what convinced George Carlin that there INDEED is a God and that DEATH, as we think we know it, SIMPLY DOES NOT EXIST. < http://www.edconrad.com/pics/Miracle.jpg < http://www.edconrad.com/lifeafterdeath/ < ============ <

So part of your problem is an inability to remember lines from movies.
Your standards for funny and profound are clearer now.

LOL, this from the one who seems to "have"to respond to everything here. Must have had a long day asking "will you have fries with that"? So now it's time for him to put on his cape.

Maybe I should reply to "everything here"... that would be in the order of tens of thousands of posts. Maybe I should enhance it by posting under a new pseudonym... say, as 'Alex Clayton'? Excellent.

Semelweis was insane...driven insane by those who opposed him. He proposed that physicians disinfect their hands prior to delivering babies as a means to end childbirth fever which as highly fatal to birthing mothers. Doctors wprefered to wipe their hands on their lapels after conducting autopsies.
From what I can tell Ed Conrad, shows no evidence of being insane. His humor is quite incisive. His discovery is truly extraordinary.

Nope. That's what some (you?) have made up because it's easier to think that (and dismiss such as myself) than to actually understand my position. Saves lots of thinking on your part, and makes for good griping with other jaded collectors.
My view has always been that there should be good relationships of respect among land owners, collectors and archaeologists. That way, vital information is not lost; property rights are maintained; and the value of collectors' collections is enhanced because their artifacts have proper and valid provenance.
<snark> Aren't you the fool that thinks collectors ought to be able to break any laws they like if, by doing so, they get cool swag? Just trespass on a farmer's land and dig up whatever they like in the dead of night? </snark>
See how easy it is to demonize another person or group, making win-win-win situations impossible? I suspect you don't support breaking laws to build a collection. Give me credit for also supporting law-abidingness.

enhancement of collections and provenance are moot as long as the finder reaps his just financial reward via auction or private sale.
<snark> Aren't you the fool that thinks collectors ought <to be able to break any laws they like
Laws are made by the fallible and wealthy elitists who only want to keep wealth out of the hands of the lower classes.
<Just trespass on a farmer's land and dig up <whatever they like in the dead of night?
Survival of the fittest and the smartest. If someone is smart enough to get past a security system, then they deserve the booty.....ala Oceans Twelve.

I see that I gave you too much credit for honor. I'd suggest you have to live with yourself and that's sad for you, but I suspect you have convinced yourself that you're the shining rebel. But you're just a thief with a fig leaf.
Arnie Quarry - 14 Jul 2008 03:34 GMT "Tom McDonald" <tmcdonald2672@charter.net> wrote in message news:qqxek.39> I see that I gave you too much credit for honor.
Your definition of honor is obeying laws put in place by disingenuous politicians that allow the rich to prevent the poor from rising out of the mire to make a living.
If that is truly the definition of honor on Planet Earth, what would the definition be elsewhere in the galaxy?
Tom McDonald - 14 Jul 2008 04:27 GMT > "Tom McDonald" <tmcdonald2672@charter.net> wrote in message news:qqxek.39> I > see that I gave you too much credit for honor. [quoted text clipped - 5 lines] > If that is truly the definition of honor on Planet Earth, what would the > definition be elsewhere in the galaxy? Are you saying that collectors cannot make a living without breaking the law? If so, you need to talk to some collectors who don't break the law to test your assertion.
If this is where you choose to draw the line in the sand about fighting 'The Man', when there are so many more worthy, and less selfish, issues that actually do demand justice, well I pity your lack of discernment.
Arnie Quarry - 14 Jul 2008 05:20 GMT > Are you saying that collectors cannot make a living >without breaking thelaw?
Only collectors on a limited budget cannot make a living. If they could make a living, they wouldn't be poor in the first place would they?
>If so, you need to talk to some collectors who > don't break the law to test your assertion. No need to. Follow simple logic and it will set you free.

Does anybody remember Brother Al's radio program? Where he always would carefully spell his name?
Those mexican stations could kill small furry animals within a five mile range.
The World Tomorrow with Gardner Ted Armstrong.
Or the guy who went to the Cox department store to buy a searsucker suit. And got confused and ended up at Sears instead.

Why are you and others of your kind so deathly afraid of Ed's old as coal man?
Why wouldn't the human species have been around as of 250+ million years BP?
