I smell the mold in the hall, but not in my room.
With my big fan and all, I think my air is coming from outside,
not the hall. Besides, I doubt mold is all that lethal.
Seattle is fairly cool, especially my basement.
I never feel the need for air conditioning or heat .. it's that mild.
Jeff Please keep that fan going. Breathing in air with mold in it is
hazardous, and our lungs being so huge and efficient means they can do
good for a long time. Even with 30 years of smoking. Still time takes
its toll Bert

Bert, mold and mildew are everywhere arond here in nature. It is why
the rocks turn dark after being exposed above ground for a while. It
is the reason your sidewalk turns dark after many years. People are
terribly afraid of it in their homes nowadays, but it is also really
everywhere outdoors. But that is is probalby why my nose is stuffy
all the time!

I started smoking in 1993, age 33, 15 years ago.
Smoking is living life, enjoying it.
Anything short of hibernation will shorten your life ..
and even that could kill you.

My new activity of walking 8 miles a day should lengthen my life.
Only my feet kill me.
No pain, no gain!

P.S. Don't need tobacco. I inhale enough carcinogens with the city
smog!
