You don't have to die alone.
Move to a rooming house in a slum .. you'll watch your neighbors die ..
and they'll watch you die.

Or come up with a song and dance act, and you can die on stage!

Double-A  Love to dance  Love to sing but can't do those two that good
for a dance, song act. Reality is I can do and have done some stand up
stick.     I love to make people laugh. Let me tell you nobody wants to
die on stage. I would rather be died first. Bert  PS Treb just jumped in

And ih to Treb.  Maybe you can get a job at one of the local strip
joints. You know, the guys who do the jokes while the girls are
changing into new costumes to take off.  Those stand up comedians were
the main reasons that my friends and I used to frequent those places
(oh yeah!).

Double-A  People don't listen to old people and you have to have people
listen when on stage.     On Sundays I did do some stick at Ruth's
nursing home and I did make most laugh. I joked about my being old,and
they could relate to that. I read the Sunday paper to them and the staff
thought that was very funny and clever of me. Go figure Bert

In Portland, Mary's Club is the oldest and most revered of the strip
joints.  It is right next door to the Benson Hotel, where Presidents
have stayed!  The do employ stand up comics.

When Jimmy Carter stayed at the Benson, he didn't have to go far to
"lust in his heart"!

When Clinton stayed there, he would have passed right by Mary's Club
as he jogged to McDonalds!
