Those of us ( unlike you ) who can't afford to jet off to the moon
can still tour the “ cosmos ” on UseNet.

Although we're superb authors ( self-declared ),
semi-engaging our readers, our fan$ are few and far between.
Personally, I prefer that which money can't buy.

Jeff, if money can't buy it, then either it doesn't
exist, or it cannot be done!

Name one thing that money can't buy.

Love?  Name one love relationship you've ever
seen, read about, heard about or experienced,
that was able to survive for any length of time
without *somebody* making an income.

Even the hermit up on the mountain, living in
a cave and dining on Campbell's Pork 'n Beans
isn't completely solitary.  After all, somebody
had to design the can and the can opener he
uses.  And somebody had to grow the beans.

Money can even buy time.  Just ask anybody
who's received a kidney or a heart.

So if you truly prefer that which money can't
buy, then what exactly do you prefer?

You asked me:
“ So if you truly prefer that which money can't buy,
then what exactly do you prefer ? ”.

I know how to roll cigs for 60 cents a pack.. can you do that ? no.
I know how to live in Seattle next to the University of Washington,
on just 500 dollars per month.. can you do that ? no.

The stuff I've learned here on UseNet and the Internet,
all the code I've written over the decades,
I had to do that myself, you can't learn it by proxy.

When I want some code, I just write it.

I get it exactly how I want it, when I want it,
and I didn't have to hire a programmer to stay with me around the clock
to do  Exactly  what I want, when I want.

Besides, who would do that ? for any amount of money ? no one.
No one wants to be a complete and total puppet like that,
and no one has unlimited funds to pay for it.

Please don't tell me: “ I'm giga rich and you can be too. ”;
that's just fuckin' bullshit.. I'm not you, never will be.
One way or another, you inherited your wealth, we all did.

Maybe you're just a gazillionaire whose time
has not yet come?

Again you *assume* things.  You assume that
i cannot do things i've already done -- *had* to
do.  And you, like many people, psychologically
"block" yourself from wealth.

What you're really trying to shield yourself from
is responsibility, accountability.

You see yourself as a sheep in sheep's clothing.

One is not always the best person to guide one's
self.  If you won't accept guidance from me, then
please find someone you trust, and seek guidance
from them.  Whether or not you accept it as fact,

  ...you need guidance.

You must learn to see life as a daring adventure.
If it's not, then it is nothing.

happy days and...
  starry starry nights!
