"CHEBARKUL, Russia (Reuters) - President Vladimir Putin said Russia sent 14 bomber aircraft on patrols far beyond its own territory on Friday, marking the permanent return to a Soviet-era practice. Putin said the resumption of flights was a response to security threats posed by other military powers."
When Bush took office, America was trusted, respected, admired, emulated, and even loved by almost everyone on the planet, and the middle east was safer than Washington, DC,
and almost all nations, including Russia and China looked to America for leadership.
In less than three years, Bush pissed away all the good will that it had taken the American private sector decades to build up, and he lost "the hearts and minds" almost all of the peoples on the planet, and made enemies of almost all nations.
Although I was a long time supporter of the Republicans, and was invited to the White House by Reagan and Bush the Elder, and although I worked hard to promote Bush over Gore, it was clear to me in less than six months, that I, and America, had made an enormous mistake.
As can be seen, during this period, when Bush was not on vacation, he was cozying up to Sharon, and working hard to piss off Muslims by demeaning the Palestinians who were being brutalized by Israel, badmouthing Iraq, Iran, and Muslim nations and people in general, trivializing the South African Racism Conference that was trying to solve the Middle East problem, trivializing the United Nations, etc. In other words, Bush began systematically dismantling all the progress that had been made to solve the middle east situation.
It quickly became clear to me, and I am sure thousands of others, that Bush was trying to instigate an act of terrorism that he could use as an excuse to attack Iraq and steal their oil.
No doubt, Bush was "shocked and awed" by the response he got to his instigations.
Bush is a greedy, evil, sick man, and it will take America many years to repair the wounds he caused to America and the world.

No doubt several nations will indict George Bush for War Crimes, after his finger is no longer on the nuclear button,
and he will not be able to travel freely in the world,
and if he tries to maintain sanctuary in America, America should do the honorable thing and arrest him, and turn him over to an International Court to be tried for his crimes against humanity.
Of course, although America has been most wounded by George Bush and the NeoCons, considering how Bush has violated International Law, and how this turned the International Community against America, the International Community should be allowed to handle the case, so the peoples of the world will know that in America, freedom and equal justice under the law are not just empty words.

The leaders of Russia, and for that matter all nations, would be nuts to disarm, when an insane man like Bush is president of the United States.
No doubt, after Bush is out of office, Congress will have to make laws to put constraints on presidents in order to prevent loose cannons from doing great harm to America and the world.

"The Nunn-Lugar program is an effort whereby money is taken from the US Defense budget every year and allocated to helping the states of the former Soviet Union eliminate and safeguard nuclear weapons and other weapons of mass destruction.... Specifically, Nunn-Lugar has many large engineering projects throughout Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Belarus, and elsewhere. They're helping safeguard a weapons storage site. They are helping give new research opportunities to scientists who used to work on chemical, biological, or nuclear weapons. They are digging up missile silos, chopping up missiles, chopping up old bombers, helping--as in Project Sapphire--secretly to remove fissile material from places where it shouldn't be. In all of these ways, we are trying to contain the weapons of mass destruction legacy of the former Soviet Union...."

We were so loved that: The Sudan offerred up a major terrorist - which we turned dwon In August, 2002, President Clinton admitted for the first time anywhere that he had the chance to take Osama bin Laden into custody, but he nixed the idea because he couldn't come up with a legal justification for the 9-11 mastermind's extradition
"Mr. bin Laden used to live in Sudan. He was expelled from Saudi Arabia in 1991, then he went to Sudan. And we'd been hearing that the Sudanese wanted America to start meeting with them again - they released him. At the time, 1996, he had committed no crime against America so I did not bring him here because we had no basis on which to hold him, though we knew he wanted to commit crimes against America. So I pleaded with the Saudis to take him, 'cause they could have. But they thought it was a hot potato and they didn't and that's how he wound up in Afghanistan." (End of excerpt)
While many Americans felt great pride in Bill Clinton's approach to terrorism, the Islamic world celebrated on September 11th, 2001.

With a small boat bomb they murder 17 sailors. The Yemenis quietly arrest eight and jails none. Though President Clinton promises to hunt those and punish those responsible, he does nothing to distract his vice-president, Al Gore, from continuing his presidential campaign. Choosing the election over justice, the Clinton administration considered the case closed.

Two weeks later he chooses an aspirin factory in Sudan to launch cruise missiles against. Thinking this meek show of force was enough to repel Islamic extremists from attacking the United States, the Clinton administration considered the case closed.
We were so loved that: Muslim Terrorists bombed the Khobar Towers Riyadh, Saudi Arabia - November 13, 1995 Militants strike U.S. military headquarters with a bomb inside a van. Five are killed. Al-Qaeda lieutenants train the local insurgency to ambush and counter-attack U.S. Rangers during a daring daylight raid. In a 15-hour firefight 19 American soldiers were killed while inflicting over 1,000 Somalis. An American soldier was dragged naked through the streets in celebration, and President Clinton promises to hunt those and punish those responsible. Days later Clinton announces an abrupt pullout of Somalia and the considers the case closed.

Tom Potter - 21 Aug 2007 14:04 GMT >> When Bush took office, >> America was trusted, respected, admired, emulated, [quoted text clipped - 89 lines] > We were so loved that: > Unknown persons shot down TWA flight 800 "Madelene Mangolirri" makes a good point when she points out that the same gang that instigated the Class Wars of the 1900's are instigating to Religious Wars of the 2000's, and that they are using the same tactic.
As can be seen, after the War-for-profit Gang massacred the Russian Family and co-opted the Russian government, they bought a few American and English politicians, got America and England in their camp, and used Russia as a base from where to instigate their Class Wars.
And note that after the Native Russians regained control of their government the gang instituted a phony "Free Jews" scam and migrated to Israel and America at the expense of the American taxpayers, from where they are instigating the Religious Wars of the 2000's, to get back in the chips, as the loot from their Class Wars is almost gone.
As can be seen, Bush is a willing participant in the war-for-profit and power game, just as FDR was.
If FDR had gone after the war-for-profit gang rather than getting in bed with them, WWII would has lasted two months, and there would have been no millions of deaths, no holocaust, no Cold War, no Korea, no Vietnam , no nuclear weapons, no instigation of global religious wars, etc.
If Bush had gone after the war-for-profit gang, rather than getting in bed with them and Sharon, there would have been no 9/11, no movement of America toward a police and military state, no dying and maiming of tens of thousands of young Americans, and hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqis, no loss of freedoms to Americans, no danger to American's at home and abroad, no shattering of the national budget, no war on the Iraqi people, with its' attendant cost, depletion of non-renewable resources, environmental damage, etc, no loss of trust by most nations of the world, no hatred of America by hundreds of millions of Muslims, no raid on Social Security, no dollar flight, no meltdown of the dollar, no meltdown of America, no weakening of the United Nations, no weakening of NATO, no independent Chinese and European GPS System, no resumption of Russian military flights, no military alliances aimed to counter America, etc.
The major weakness of a democracy, is that immoral, profiteering, manipulators can effectively buy the government at a low price, by finding politicians like Bush, Clinton, FDR, Blair, etc. and giving them the financial and media support they need to rise above the pack.
As can be seen, the War-for-Profit Gang has several of the HIGHLY PUBLICIZED presidential candidates in their control, and they are looking to co-opt the American government, as they did the Russian government in their Class Wars.
As Philip, Alexander the Great's father said, "There are no city walls so strong, that they cannot be breached, if you can get a donkey load of gold up to the wall." The same is true with a democracy such as America has, and immoral manipulators steal gold from the masses, and use the gold to buy more politicians.
