To Ya All (Florida term) Have to say first this thinking comes out of Scott Miller and my posts (OK) This gave me some interesting thinking(hopefully) Let me state first that Geological time is the "internal time of Earth's geologic history" Best to think that this history is represented by the oldest rocks known. I could even suggest a theory that the correlation of rock strata and their fossil contain might have been a continual "same spacetime continuing process".(why not?) I read the Earth's oldest rocks time measurement is 3.9 billion years old. Well anyone that knows more about rocks "please jump in" Might end with this fact. Without rock planets the universe would not be able to see itself bert Bert, do you listen to music? If so, what kind? This week's cover art of the New Yorker is very good, take a look; the cover is in the upper-right corner. Not sure if you can see it well, online, vs the actual cover. http://www.newyorker.com The cover is titled, "Uphill Battle", by Barry Blitt. It shows a veteran looking up the steps, and the people coming down the steps are medical professionals. Twitty I love music. What kind?. All kinds I don't play an instrument,but can tune a piano Bert What kind do you listen to most often, eg, classical, jazz, new age, pop, opera, etc? Twitty Most of my music comes out of my car radio. Here in Florida its country music. Loved the Boston Pops(Feidler) Presley was great. Fact I liked his blues best(love songs). I remember Rudy Valley, Como,Bing, Sanatra,and Barbra always in great key. Like to dance and make a fool out of myself. Boston had a great Irish bar with a band. Served "beer" and peanuts in the shell. Floor a foot deep in shells. Loved when we got up to do the Irish jig. Irish eyes were always smiling in South Boston. NY is probably the same. Dancing. Singing,and just letting your mind drift along with the music is almost away of life for me. Sounds a little corny,but its reality Bert Yes, Barbra is good, so is Elvis. I don't care for country. I do like NPR. These days, without my own stereo, I listen to Radio Ambient on my computer Mac ITunes. Twitty Music tickles our brains. It proves you just can't think and think all the time. Sleep allows the brain to rest. Good music can help us kick back and relax. Music is a matter of good taste.and it comes in many flavors Bert Just drink another six pack, BEERTbrain!
