Kind forward of new development of that poor doomed country

Indeed with the Rain locked out and the Aquifers locked in as a result
of the Collective Punishment, the very little water left will have to
go into a merry go round a hundred times at least .... with all those
good dezzeazzezz resulting for the Convicts' Colony . May be at the end
when even that resources will have petered out,  the little Antipodean
brains ticking slowly into those thick Antipodean skulls will come to
the conclusion that NONE GO AWAY WITH COLLECTIVE CRIMES SUCH AS THE
PORT ARTHUR HOLOCAUST AND THE GREAT SANDY DESERT 1 000 BILLIONS SWINDLE
!

Of course there is a positive side to it and this is that you will know
1st hand your neighbours ' rotten effluents and ingest them indeed...
Yep ! ....  and in any case some of it are already recycled in that
Swan beer ( from the Swan river sewage ) and other awful brew of that
type, so in a way you are already used to it.

I have said to you many times that NO RAIN WILL RETURN IN AUSTRALIA
BEFORE ME !

WARNING TO CITIES : RECYCLE EFFLUENT

CITIES should seriously consider drinking recycled effluent if they
want a solution to increasing supply problems, water companies will
warn today.

In a report to be released by Parliamentary Secretary for Water Malcolm
Turnbull, Australia's peak urban water body says that unless people
decide to drink recycled effluent in cities, its use to water parks and
supply industry will do little to help solve growing shortages.

The Water Services Association of Australia regards recycled water as
an increasingly important water source in urban areas.

But its report also notes technical problems with recycling water, and
says turning effluent into drinking water is not quite a "silver
bullet" solution.

It warns that any recycling solution needs "extensive community
consultation".

Four months ago, Toowoomba residents voted against a $70million plan to
top up drinking water supplies with recycled effluent, despite the
Queensland city's dire water shortages.

Only the NSW southern highlands town of Goulburn is currently
considering a recycling system -- part of a six-month community
consultation process on water management strategy.

The WSAA report says the "great virtue" of recycled wastewater is that
it is a rainfall-independent source of water, which is critically
important in an era of climate variability and erratic rainfall
patterns.

At a time of climatic uncertainty, it says, no water supply option
should be ruled out, including putting treated effluent into drinking
supplies.

Other options include seawater desalination in coastal cities, buying
water from irrigators, and rainwater tanks in areas of high rainfall.

Each should be judged on its merits based on the local situation, the
report says.

The pro-recycling views in the report back those of John Howard and the
National Water Commission. The two have called on governments to seek
federal funding for "innovative" wastewater recycling projects.

The WSAA report warns that if recycled wastewater is not blended back
into drinking supplies, each city will need separate new and expensive
distribution networks including pipes to send the water to industry and
irrigators.

Sydney's current distribution network spans 22,000km.

If separate networks were built, recycled water would probably be
limited to supplying willing commercial and industrial users - not
enough to deal with declining inflows and rapidly growing populations.

"Recycled water will play an increasingly important part in securing
the reliability of our urban water supplies," the report says. But
"like all demand and supply options, recycled water has benefits and
limitations. The limitations of recycled water include high transport
costs and the need to manage its by-products".

It says recycling water can reduce discharges to the environment by
capturing water and nutrients that would otherwise be released from
wastewater treatment plants and stormwater drains, and can also be used
to provide improved environmental flows to urban waterways and for
other public amenity purposes such as parks.
