Maybe this is something that is already known, but the 25th September
falls on the same day of the week as does Christmas Day. This is
because there are 91 days between the two dates.

So, come the 25th September you know there are exactly 13 weeks until
Christmas.

And on May Day proper, May 1st, there are exactly 34 weeks until
Christmas Day.

February 29th, when in a year whose number is divisible by 100, is a
Tuesday.

Next year, New Year's Eve will be after New Year's Day.
