It would be best if Nicholson listed for this fair usenet group what
things he has achieved that should cause anyone to be jealous,
especially in terms of science and any scientific publication he may
have generated, which often has been his main claim of interest.

As for spite, John's position is somewhat understandable considering
that he remains absent from astronomy for some periods only to be
informed by others that Nicholson is decrying him and others on
multiple blogs and forums, behind their backs, yet Nicholson accuses
others of spite if they have the temerity to defend themselves.

It is Nicholson who has used John Greaves' full name and identity to
open public blog accounts in John's name which contain comments and
details written by Nicholson, on various servers.  That is not just
spite, that is identity theft, deception, and the height of
childishness.

Pretty much standard then, if any here have ever bothered to ask
Wolfgang Renz, for example, another individual, amongst others, who
has suffered at the hands of Nicholson for daring to try and explain
to him how to do things properly.

One consistent theme is that Nicholson is always complaining on forums
and blogs, which some of you will have seen, that he cannot get his
work published, work he deems as scientific and useful, yet accuses
others who have been published in formal peer refereed journals of
being jealous of him.  Such is unfathomable.

Given up on the forged postings John and moved back to posting your
paranoid delusions - yawn!

As the Greaves FAQ puts it :-

Reading John Greave's postings to this and other newsgroups and then
trying to answer all the nonsense contained in them incurs the risk of
being so time-consuming that it takes over one’s life completely,
leaving none for more enjoyable activities. On the other hand, not
answering them incurs the even greater risk that some readers may
think
that his points are unanswerable and that amateur astronomy rests on a
fragile foundation - just as Greaves would like to pretend.

The list of people and organisations Greaves has attacked is lengthy
but when it happens to him .....!
