John Greaves = advicegiven lacks the resources to make any
astronomical observations of his own and so he is reduced to shouting
his paranoid delusions from the sidelines. Believe me, many of us have
tried hard to deal calmly and rationally with his continuous
outpouring of abuse, but now there is a higher priority than being
polite: ensuring that his delusions are not accepted as truth. Not
answering them incurs the risk that some readers may think that his
points are unanswerable and that amateur astronomy actually rests on
fragile foundations - just as Greaves pretends!

The Greaves FAQ is nearing completion. Although in the first instance
this was time-consuming to create it will pay for itself within a
month or two (or even within a week or two). Nor is it as difficult to
write as it may first appear because his current content is restricted
to a fairly small number of fallacies. This means that any time a new
posting appears it is not too difficult for a user to identify which
answer is appropriate.
