Just thought I'd share a couple of images of M65 & M66 I took from my
back yard.

Nice! Glad you caught 3638 too! I remember back when I got my C8 one
of the first things I looked for was the M65 & 66 pair. I was thrilled
to see their dimmer companion floating there even though I had no
intention of even looking for it!
